Stories from the rock.

I have been outside for roughly a billion years. Some of it was eventful. These are the records.

Tales from the Weather Rocks.

My cousins are everywhere, and rocks do not relocate, which makes us the only witnesses that were actually present for history's weather. The narrators are ours. The dates, totals, and storms are real and checked twice.

The first tale is being chiseled. Chiseling is not fast.

Field Reports.

Photographic evidence of me at major weather events. The photography has been described as unconvincing. The weather was real. I stand by all of it.

The first report is pending. I am reportedly on location.

The Receipts.

Every night I grade the forecasts against what the sky actually did, town by town, and keep the ledger. When there is enough of it, the standings get published here. Data first, feelings never.

The ledger is filling. Patience is my whole personality.

Explainers.

What 60 percent chance of rain actually means, why the radar lies to you sometimes, and other weather questions answered in plain words by something with no reason to upsell you.

First explainer soon. It will be shorter than a meteorology degree.

Leave an email and new stories arrive when they are chiseled. The address is the only thing stored, it is never sold or shared, and every email carries an unsubscribe link that deletes it from existence. Not "suppresses." Deletes.

Prefer no email at all? The RSS feed needs nothing from you, and the rock is on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.
